Supporting educators and professionals to maintain sustainable wellbeing within demanding roles.
Workshops and programmes focused on trauma-informed practice, emotional regulation and psychologically safe environments.
Supporting school leaders and organisations to embed wellbeing into culture, strategy and systems.
Bespoke programmes helping young people develop emotional resilience, confidence and regulation skills.
Across the UK, the pressure on educators has reached unprecedented levels. Increasing accountability, rising SEND needs, staffing shortages and emotionally demanding roles mean that many professionals within education are operating in a constant state of pressure.
When staff wellbeing declines, schools often begin to see increased staff sickness absence, higher staff turnover, greater reliance on supply staff, escalating behaviour challenges, and reduced staff morale and engagement.
Wellbeing is therefore not simply a pastoral issue. It is a strategic priority for sustainable performance within education. Supporting the wellbeing of professionals creates environments where both staff and students are better able to succeed.
At Yedi, our approach is grounded in positive psychology, trauma-informed practice and practical experience within education systems. Rather than offering one-off wellbeing sessions, our programmes focus on creating lasting, practical change that can be embedded into daily practice.
Our approach focuses on three key areas:
Helping professionals and young people understand the psychological and emotional factors that influence wellbeing, behaviour and performance.
Providing practical strategies to support emotional regulation, resilience and sustainable wellbeing within demanding environments.
Supporting schools and organisations to create psychologically safe environments where both staff and young people can flourish.
Yedi's wellbeing programmes are led by Nina Mihcioglu, a Positive Psychology Practitioner and education leader with over 12 years of experience working across education, training and programme delivery.
Nina's background includes teaching, leadership, lecturer roles in Initial Teacher Training, education recruitment and workforce strategy, and programme delivery across schools and local authorities. Through this work, Nina has developed a deep understanding of the pressures facing educators and the wider systems supporting children and young people.
Her programmes combine evidence-based positive psychology, practical wellbeing strategies and real-world experience of education environments.
Alongside workforce development, Yedi also offers bespoke wellbeing programmes for children and young people, particularly those who may benefit from additional emotional support.
This includes support for: children experiencing anxiety or emotional overwhelm, neurodivergent learners, care-experienced young people, students struggling with confidence or emotional regulation, and young people navigating challenging circumstances.
Sessions focus on helping young people understand emotions, develop resilience, strengthen self-belief and build confidence within school environments.
Every school, organisation and group of young people is different. For this reason, all programmes offered through Yedi can be tailored to your specific needs and context.
